Box Tops/Labels Due Dec 1

Have you been collecting those Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels?  Its almost time to turn those in!  Have your child turn them in by December 1.  Put them in a bag labeled with your child's name and teacher's name.  The class with the most labels turned in will earn a Pizza Party in January!

*While not necessary its quite helpful to trim the labels prior to turning them in.  Have your child assist you, it helps their dexterity and fine motor skills :)

PIZZA DAY

Who wants to make dinner the day before Thanksgiving?  NOBODY.  Good thing its PIZZA DAY!  Last day to support the Dearborn Education Foundation and have a hassle free meal with your family.

Confrences

Long School will be holding conferences on November 22, 23 and 30 from 5-8pm.  Contact your child's teacher to make and appointment.

PIZZA DAY

No school today enjoy the day and don't rush home to make dinner: Its PIZZA DAY again!  Support a good cause (Dearborn Education Foundation) and don't dirty any dishes what more could a busy family ask for?!

November 15- 1/2 day of school 11:45 dismissal

November 16, 17,18- no school
                  *16 is also Girl Scout fundraiser at Pump it Up

   November 19- Only full day of school this week :)              

Toys for Tots

Beginning November 15 Long School Boy and Girl Scouts will be collecting new unwrapped toys for their annual Toys for Tots Drive.  Please bring in your donations to the Long School Office by December 10 to participate in this event!  This event will culminate with an assembly in December when the Marines visit our school to pick up the donations.  Please help our Boy and Girl Scouts have a successful toy drive and make a difference in the life of a child in need.

PIZZA DAY

Relax dont worry about dinner tonight instead of cooking read a book with your child BECAUSE : Today is Pizza Day!!  Support the Dearborn Education Foundation and take a break from meal prep ;) 

Boy Scouts

The Boy Scout's "Operation Can-Do" is still going on.  Please bring your canned good donations to Long School Office by Friday November 12.

Due this week!

*Schwans Pre-orders are due November 10 (Wednesday).  Help your child's class earn an ice cream or pizza party by having the most items pre-ordered for the month of November. 

*Friday remember to turn in your money and waivers for the Daisy Scouts Pump it Up Fundraiser to be held November 16.  All participants MUST have waiver and money into the office by this Friday (November 12) to attend the event.

DUE DATE REMINDER

Reminder to turn your Gordons Fundraiser and Pistons Ticket orders tomorrow November 5.  Every little bit sold counts.  Easy meal prep for the holidays (Gordons) and easy gift giving (Pistons Tickets) Long School has the fundraisers that make our lives easier!  If you have any questions please email us longschool.pta@gmail.com.

Basketball Draft

Long Jr Pro coaches are meeting on November 4 to draft their teams.  If you registered your child for Basketball expect a call from their coach soon regarding what team they are on and when their practices will be held.

No need to make dinner tonight....or any Wednesday in November!

The first Pizza Day is today November 3!  Support the Dearborn Education Foundation and visit one of many local pizzerias and that restaurant will make a donation to the Foundation.  If you have any questions about which pizzerias are participating email us.
